After years at Badia a Passignano, in the heart of Chianti, where he took his first steps as a parquet layer, Fabio Canestrini opened his first workshop in Florence. An experience built on site work and on knowing the material first-hand.

As the projects grew, Sherwood was founded: the division dedicated to site work. The job widened to take in the coordination of the whole build.

From preparing the subfloor to the final handover, the client has one person to deal with. Directing the site becomes part of the service itself.

The partnership with Listone Giordano begins, an international name in parquet. A material that shares the same care for durability, research and quality.

Since then that partnership has accompanied every project. Choosing the material becomes part of a wider view of the space.

Meeting Andrea Gigante opens a new phase. The parquet enters an interior scheme that treats light, furniture, proportion and finish as one whole.
